About RUC

Renmin University of China（RUC） is the first comprehensive research-oriented university established by the People’s Republic of China in Beijing in 1950. Its predecessor was Shaabei Public School, founded in Yan’An in 1937. From the period of Shaanbei Public School to the present, RUC has trained more than 380000 high-level builders and outstanding talents in various industries. In the national disciplinary evaluations conducted by the Ministry of Education of China, RUC has 11 disciplines that rank No. 1 in China, including Marxist Theory, Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Law, Sociology, Chinese Language and Literature, Journalism and Communication, Statistics, Business Management, Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management, Public Management. About SCE

The School of Continuing Education（RUC-SCE） at Renmin University of China stands as an exemplary institution, to provide lifelong education and professional training programs. It serves as a pivotal platform for reforming and innovating the university's continuing education systems and mechanisms, offering comprehensive services and support for the university's social service functions.

SCE aims to become a training hub for government officials, a disseminator of the innovative theories, and an applied center for China's knowledge system. It also endeavors to be a case center showcasing China's developmental path and social governance experience.

SCE has integrated the advantageous disciplinary resources of RUC, built a high-level teaching team composed of renowned professors, and has excellent lifelong education programs and cadre training programs, creating a continuing education platform that gathers high-quality resources both domestically and internationally. SCE's training programs mainly fall into three categories: government administrative training, business management education, and lifelong education for all ages.

RUC has been a key initiator of continuing education in China, boasting a proud tradition and distinct advantages.
