On the morning of September 16, 2023, the School of Continuing Education, together with the Shanxi Alumni Association of RUC, invited Professor Sun Yudong from the School of Public Administration of RUC to give a lecture with the theme of "China's Macroeconomic Development Trend and Policy Interpretation" to more than 1,000 cadres of Shanxi Transformation Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone (referred to as Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone).

Before the lecture, Jiang Yan, Director of the Center for Finance and Central Enterprise Development of the School of Continuing Education, gave a lecture on the goals, missions, development positioning, fine traditions, advantages of running schools, and work overview of the continuing education work of RUC and introduced the key training programs of the College.

Founded on February 25, 2017, Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone (hereinafter referred to as Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone) is an integration of eight national and provincial industry-university-research zones in Taiyuan City, the capital of Shanxi Province, and Jinzhong City. Besides, Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone is the important undertaker of the significant mission given by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the main force to contribute to the high-quality development of Shanxi province.
