The 5th session of "Business Communication Skills" was held successfully in the 2023-2024 academic year


On the morning of January 9, 2024, School of Continuing Education at Renmin University hosted the fifth session of the “Faculty Training Program” in Room 601, Block C of the Huixian Building. The training featured a specialized course on “Business Communication Strategies” presented by Associate Professor Gong He from the School of Journalism at Renmin University. All faculty and staff of the college attended the training. And the program was presided over by the Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean, Wo Xiaojing.

Associate Professor Gong He from School of Journalism and Communication delivered the lecture.


Gong He, Associate Professor from School of Journalism and Communication, conducted training covering negotiation strategies, marketing tactics, customer retention, brand maintenance, and practical responseattaching importance to imparting communication skills to college faculty from a practical perspective.Additionally, she had extensive interaction and discussion with the staff by combining multiple videosand case analyses, with communication challenges encountered in the context of the college's work.


Wo Xiaojing pointed out that Professor Gong provided a systematic explanation for the faculty and staff of the college from theoretical knowledge of communication to practical application techniques. This will play a significant role in further enhancing our communication skills. The content of this training is highly practical, contributing to the enhancement of training philosophy and brand promotion, which isan excellent learning experience. Wo Xiaojing emphasized that in daily interactions with clients and colleagues, everyone needs effective communication. So, she encouraged everyone to combine this course with further reflection and practical application in the work context. .
