On November 27, 2024, a five-member delegation from KEDGE Business School (France) — including Prof. Gerald Lang, PhD, Prof. Anicia Jaegler, PhD, and Mr. Mu Jianming (Director of the Sino-French Institute Admissions Office) — visited the School of Continuing Education. Vice Dean Li Jie and heads of relevant departments extended a warm welcome to the guests. Both sides engaged in comprehensive and in-depth discussions on the short-term collaborative plan previously agreed upon. During detailed discussions with Prof. Lang, the two parties outlined details of executive training programs in specialized fields such as the short-term training such as supply chain , corporate strategic management, and international negotiations. The two parties also proposed constructive revisions to the initial framework of study tour program for entrepreneurs in France. This visit marked significant progress in advancing bilateral cooperation.
Confirming New Collaborative Directions with the European University Institute (Italy)
The School of Continuing Education has achieved new breakthroughs in expanding collaboration with Italian higher education institutions. On November 28, 2024, SCE held an online meeting with representatives from the European University Institute (Italy), including Ms. Elena Asciutti (Head of External Relations), Ms. Katherine Miccinilli (head of Executive Education), Ms. Gaia Bettinelli (Director of the Global Executive Master’s Program). Vice Dean Li Jie, along with heads of relevant academic departments and the Branding and Publicity Department, participated in the meeting.
During discussions with Ms. Gaia Bettinelli, the two parties reached an initial consensus on the collaboration in the Asian module of Executive Master’s Program in EUI, and explored the feasibility of incorporating the SCE’s on-site teaching resources into the joint curriculum framework. In discussions with Ms. Katherine Miccinilli, both sides conducted comprehensive deliberations on the specific requirements and interest for the potential youth study camp in Italy. The discussion helped clarify initial priorities for future collaborations.

On November 29, 2024, the School of Continuing Education held an in-depth online meeting with Ms. Wang Zhenzhen, Head of the International Training and Testing Center at City University of Macau. Both parties conducted a thorough review of previously exchanged materials, exchanged institutional overviews, and deliberated the feasibility of short-term training programs and youth study camps in Hong Kong and Macao, discussing the details of existing cases of collaborative projects. Two sides also clarify the schedule to advance the cooperations in degree program , thereby laying a solid foundation for future collaborative expansion.
Exploring Collaboration on Summer Study Programs and Executive Training with LUISS Guido Carli University (Italy)
On December 4, 2024, the School of Continuing Education held an online meeting with LUISS Guido Carli University (Italy). Vice Dean Li Jie and heads of relevant departments engaged in discussions with Professor Aristide Police, Dean of the LUISS Faculty of Law, to explore the possible collaborative initiatives, including, the summer study programs in Italy for Chinese youth, and the short-term executive training programs for corporations. Both parties conducted in-depth deliberations on core aspects of the youth study programs, including expected requirements, scheduling, and faculty involvement. They also examined curriculum design and strategic directions for the executive training programs. The meeting resulted in a preliminary roadmap for future cooperation, with both institutions expressing a strong commitment to steadily progressing toward formalized partnership agreements.
