The School of Continuing Education(RUC)  Held the 2024 Degree Presentation Ceremony

On the afternoon of July 6, 2024, the Renmin University of China School of Continuing Education held its 2024 Degree Presentation Ceremony at the Auditorium, Tsinghua East Road Campus. The ceremony was attended by Han Xiaoning, Deputy Committee Secretary of CCP and Dean of the School of Continuing Education; Shi Decai, Head of Online Education and Committee Secretary of the School of Philosophy; Chen Yingxia, Vice Dean of the School of Continuing Education; as well as faculty representatives Yang Jing, Liu Zhen, Li Gang, and Shen Kai. The ceremony also saw the presence of the Teaching Management Office team, the Party and Administrative Office team, along with 2024 graduates, and their families and friends, all coming together to witness this significant milestone in the lives of them from both adult and online education programs.





The ceremony was hosted by WO Xiaojing, Secretary of CCP of the School of Continuing Education.



Faculty representative Yang Jing shared her expectations for the future of the graduates.



Student representative Yu Guangyong delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates.



Dean Han Xiaoning, along with faculty representatives Yang Jing, Liu Zhen, Li Gang, and Shen Kai, presented certificates to the graduates, turned the tassels, and took photos.



In his address, Han Xiaoning expressed three hopes for the graduates. First, he encouraged them to look toward the future, seize the call of the times, and become pioneering forces in the modernization of China. Second, he urged them to remember history, uphold the Renmin University's motto, and carry forward the red gene, emphasizing the importance of enduring hardships, staying resilient, persevering through loneliness, and excelling in ordinary tasks. Third, he advised them to commit to lifelong learning, maintaining the drive for personal growth. Building on the foundation of their degrees, he encouraged them to embrace a spirit of endless curiosity, continuous learning, and constant exploration, enabling them to absorb more interdisciplinary knowledge and the achievements of human civilization, ultimately contributing to societal progress.
